Travel to the far north-eastern corner of Norway, approximately 400 km north of the Arctic Circle to small town of Kirkenes, just a stone’s throw from the Finnish and Russian borders.
This is the literal end of the road for the E6 highway that runs all the way from Oslo and it's also the last stop for the Hurtigruten coastal ferry.
Those who make the journey to Kirkenes will find spectacular scenery in the form of stunning fjords and arctic tundra, where the moose roam free, reindeer are a common sight and the northern lights shine bright throughout the clear winter nights.
