Nearby Wenceslas Square is home to Prague's most elegant cafés and hotels - perfect for a glass of postshopping Czech beer.

Take your most comfortable walking shoes when you visit Prague as you won't want to stop exploring this much-loved city-break destination. The Old Town Square, for the Astronomical Clock, and Wenceslas Square are a must. Wander over Charles Bridge for exquisite views of the city of a hundred spires and meander through the delightful gardens, museums and galleries of Prague Castle. Build up a hearty appetite for some typical Czech cuisine in the New Town, washed down by an ice-cold pilsner.
Take in an opera performance, live jazz or classical music at the Rudolfinum or join the locals in traditional bars away from the night-time madness that is Wenceslas Square.
