Aino Private Island Hotel

Aino Private Island Hotel is a retreat exclusively for adults located in Rovaniemi, offering a unique escape into nature and a place rich in history. Nestled in the breathtaking beauty of Lappish wilderness and accessible via a suspension bridge over a river, Aino is where time slows down, allowing you to unwind and enjoy quality moments with loved ones.

The hotel features 11 unique suites and one villa. Each suite, varying in shape and size, includes a double or twin bed, river views, high ceilings, and cosy reading nooks that promote mindful living and deep connection with the surrounding nature. Four of the suites include a loft with a TV nook, and three have the option for an additional bed in the open loft. The first-floor suites are approximately 35-38 m², while the second-floor suites are around 25 m².

The private island villa boasts three bedrooms: a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet, plus two additional bedrooms with double or twin beds. The open-concept living room features a kitchen and fireplace, creating a warm and inviting space. The main bathroom includes a bathtub, shower, and toilet, along with an additional powder room. A fourth room serves as a TV room but can be converted into a fourth bedroom. The large terrace offers stunning views of the river, enhancing the tranquillity of your stay. During your visit, you'll have access to all private island services, and the Kota Restaurant provides delightful breakfasts and Lappish soul food meals.

Aino Private Island Hotel will undergo renovations from April to October 2025 and will reopen with fully remodelled suites on 15th November 2025.
