You will start your three-day trek through Nam Ha National Protected Area today, which offers a deep dive into the region’s wilderness and indigenous culture. Led by expert forest guides, explore untouched jungles, learn traditional hunting and foraging techniques, and experience life in remote village communities. Along the way,  identify medicinal plants, track wildlife, and prepare meals using jungle ingredients without modern tools.

The journey starts with a 0900hrs briefing before heading to the trailhead by Tuk Tuk, stopping at a local market for supplies. The trek begins in Nam Ha village, passing through plantations before entering the dense forest. Lunch is a picnic along the route, followed by hands-on lessons in setting up banana leaf camps and cooking Khmu-style jungle meals. The day ends at a campsite in the primary forest, offering a true off-the-grid experience.

Start the day with the sounds of wildlife echoing through the jungle as you enjoy a simple but satisfying breakfast. From here, the journey continues with two options. The first is a shorter trek, crossing the Nam Ha River to reach Nalan village, where a traditional lunch awaits, along with an opportunity to learn about Khmu culture firsthand. The second option is a longer, more immersive route, retracing part of the initial trail before venturing deeper into the valley of Nam Ha National Protected Area.
