North Cape Winter Wonderland

Fly to Tromsø and collect the hire car and head to the city centre to check-in to your hotel. After breakfast, leave Tromsø and pass through the region of the spectacular Lyngen Alps. These peaks remain covered in snow all year. Take the ferry crossing from Breivikeidet to Svensby, then another crossing from Lyngeseidet to Olderdalen. From the village of Olderdalen drive along the Lyngenfjord and arrive in Alta in the afternoon. Make sure to visit the Museum of Rock Carvings. (B)

Due to heavy snow cover, it is necessary to get to the North Cape by convoy, escorted by a snow plough. The iconic globe monument, rugged landscapes and possible northern lights make it an unforgettable adventure at the edge of the world. Return by convoy to Honningsvåg for a moment of relaxation.(B)

This morning, drive to Hammerfest, crossing magical landscapes covered in snow. The Hurtigruten coastal express boat takes you back to Tromsø.
