Today, journey to the Făgăraș Mountains for a guided bison-tracking tour through pristine forests and wild landscapes. Depart from Rucăr in the early morning or around noon to maximise wildlife spotting opportunities. Accompanied by an expert guide, tailor your hike to your fitness level and explore wildlife cameras, tracks, and clearings where animals might appear. Binoculars are provided, and your guide shares insights on bison reintroduction, animal behaviours, and the ecosystem. To increase your chances of sightings, opt for an extended tour to the Richița observation hide. This immersive experience lasts approximately eight hours.

Begin your day hiking in the stunning Piatra Craiului Mountains, a jewel of Transylvania’s Alps. Follow scenic trails through dramatic limestone peaks, lush forests, and rich wildlife habitats. Your guide will tailor the route, offering treks from three to seven hours to suit your group’s fitness level and preferences. As evening falls, experience wild bear watching from a well-positioned hide.
