Taroko National Park, established in 1986, spans Hualien City, Nantou County, and Taichung City in Taiwan. It is renowned for its dramatic landscapes featuring towering mountains and marble canyons, carved by the Liwu River over millions of years. The park boasts a unique ecosystem with diverse flora and fauna adapted to its special geography. Taroko is famous for its picturesque waterfalls and stunning natural vistas, including Swallow Grotto and Tunnel of Nine Turns. Tianxiang, located at the confluence of the Liwu and Dasha Rivers, is a significant site in the park with attractions like Xiangde Temple, Tianfeng Pagoda, suspension bridges, and memorial gardens.
